Introduction

Established in 1992, Nepal Permaculture Group (NPG) has been promoting effective network among individuals and institutions dedicated in the field of sustainable agriculture, sustainable development and permaculture. Being affiliated with International Permaculture Community, IFOAM, IPRI, and NAFOS, it acts as an umbrella organization and has currently 19 organizational members and more than 1000 individual members under its network. With emphasis on policy formulation, permaculture trainings and design services, research, advocacy and lobby, NPG has been working with the strategy of partnership and collaboration with government and other development partners, Farmers’ Associations, community based organizations and stakeholders to promote its programs under different thematic areas.

NPG is registered in District Administration Office, Chitwan under the society registration act of Nepal and is affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC) as a national NGO.
